PAW Patrol Live: A treat for children and adults alike
Struggling to keep the kids entertained during the school holidays?
You can be sure that PAW Patrol Live at the Cardiff Motorpoint Arena will be a huge hit with the whole family.
The event takes place on Wednesday 22nd August, with 3 sittings to choose from – 10:30am, 1:30pm and 4:30pm. The show lasts for an hour and a half, with a helpful 20 minute break in the middle, ideal for younger audience members who may struggle to sit still for long periods!
The show is suitable for all ages and babies under 1 go free, as long as they are sitting on an adult’s lap. And remember – audience participation is a must, so get ready to dance and cheer along.
For anyone not familiar with the PAW Patrol phenomenon (unlikely for people with small children) the show follows the adventures of 10 year old boy Ryder and his group of rescue dogs – Chase, Marshall, Rubble, Rocky, Skye and Zuma.
In this live show, the PAW Patrol are embarking on ‘The Great Pirate Adventure’. A Pirate Day celebration is taking place in Adventure Bay, organised by Mayor Goodway. But before they can enjoy the celebration, the PAW Patrol must rescue Cap’n Turbot, who has fallen into a dark cavern!
Along the way they find a pirate treasure map and decide to follow it to find the treasure for the Mayor. Fans will be very excited to see a new member join the PAW Patrol – Tracker, a little pup with excellent hearing.
As with the previous live show, Race to the Rescue, the story is told through a fantastic combination of live actors, puppets and an LED screen. It’ll definitely capture the kids’ attention and keep them entertained.
You can choose to make a day of it by upgrading your ticket to include a starter and a main course in the venue’s L2 restaurant. It’s just £20 per adult and £10 per child to upgrade. And with a wide variety of menu options, including beef burger, battered cod and minute steak, you’re sure to find something to suit even the fussiest eater. The upgrade also includes early entry, use of the cloakroom and access to the bar. Well worth it for a relaxed experience that your whole group can enjoy.
